About Us

We have provided travel services for school fine arts groups for over twenty five years.

We are former high school band directors and music educators.  Our experience of working in the public schools gives us a unique understanding of all the elements necessary to plan and execute a successful group travel project.
   Paul Davis

Owner of Masterpiece Tours and creator and Festival Director of South Coast Music Festivals, Paul holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education and taught high school instrumental music for eight years before entering the business world.

Paul has written marching band and jazz band arrangements, many of which have been performed around the country.

In addition to operating South Coast Music Festivals, Paul plans and escorts numerous groups each year and has attended over twenty Tournament of Roses parades as a tour escort.

Paul serves as Executive Director and Festival Administrator for Peak Music Festivals, a non-profit organization dedicated to music education.

Paul was inducted into American Bandmaster’s Association in 2009.
   Andy Davidson

Now retired, Andy served as a band director in Texas for 18 years before joining Masterpiece Tours in 1991.

Andy’s band career included tenures at Texas middle schools and high schools.  At Westlake High School he served as the staff coordinator for all band trips, including China and Hawaii. Andy has planned and escorted trips for performing organizations throughout the continental USA, Hawaii and Europe.

Although retired from Masterpiece Tours, Andy now works as a transportation coordinator in the operations department of Director’s Choice, in conjunction with the cooperative agreement between the two companies.

Andy serves as Treasurer and Festival Administrator for Peak Music Festivals, a non-profit organization.
